Michael Christopher Charles Graham was born on 15th August 1972.
In his pre-Boyzone days Michael attended stage school in Dublin, appeared in TV commercials for Mikado biscuits and The Irish Electricity Board, he was also in a band called Ivory and like Shane he also worked as a mechanic.
In 2000 when Boyzone took a break he concentrated on his own song writing and singing and released a solo album called ‘Meet Me Halfway’.
Michael went to college and studied music technology and sound engineering and in 2004 he built his own studio in Dublin, set up his own production company and got more into the writing and production side. In Feb 2010 he participated in Eurosong 2010, Ireland’s hunt for a Eurovision Song Contest entry but was pipped at the post by a previous Eurovision winner.
He also got back into his acting again at an acting school in Dublin and later went to the US where he was trained by Roy London (Brad Pitt’s acting coach). Michael shot a movie with Ben Kingsley called The Man On The Run (aka Fifty Dead Men Walking in the UK). He has also been in films ‘Fatal Deviation’ and ‘Situations Vacant’, and was in RTE reality show ‘Hollywood Trials’.
Michael is married to Karen and they have a daughter Sienna (born 2006), he also has a daughter Hannah (born 1996) from a previous partner.
In Jan 2010 Michael took part in the 5th series of ‘Dancing On Ice’ (ITV1) where he was paired with professional skater Melanie Lambert. Also in 2010 Michael and Karen appeared on All Star Mr & Mrs (ITV1)
Most recently Michael has been treading the boards as baddie Abanazar in Aladdin at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin.
